What We Believe

  1. We hold to the scriptural truth that there is a unity within the Godhead: The Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
  2. We hold to and affirm that God, the Father exists eternally, is omniscient, omnipresent, Sovereign, Holy, merciful, just and righteous.
  3. We hold to and affirm that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God, who was born of the virgin Mary, lived, manifested many miracles, was tried under Pontius Pilate, condemned, tortured, and crucified.
  4. We hold to and affirm that Jesus Christ rose with a physical, glorified body of flesh and bones that he had manifested to his disciples; and, had ascended into heaven.
  5. We believe and hold to the truth that the Holy Spirit is our constant guide and companion. He convicts us of our sins, brings to our hearts and minds the revealed word of God and is the means by which unregenerate individuals are regenerated by God’s divine and sovereign grace.
  6. We hold to and affirm that the scriptures consist of the Old and New Testament and confirm that the primary purpose of the scriptures is laid out in 2 Timothy 3:16
  7. We hold to and affirm that literal account of the fall of Adam and Eve, their transgression in the Garden and how sin and death has entered into this world through their transgression.
  8. We hold to and affirm that because of the fall of Adam, Salvation is a gift of a Sovereign God through Jesus Christ, by which we are regenerated, saved, and justified through Christ and Christ alone.
  9. We hold to and affirm the scriptural teaching of Heaven and Hell, judgment, resurrection of all people and the final judgment before Christ.
  10. We hold to and affirm that Water Baptism by immersion is the scriptural means by which a person gives testimony to their faithfulness in the regenerative work of Christ.
  11. We hold to and affirm that the regenerate individual lives a life that is consecrated and sanctified through the dutiful discipleship and relationship one cultivates through the body of Christ (The Church) and with Christ – our personal Lord and Savior.
  12. We hold to and affirm that through the sanctification of the believer, they will give evidence of the fruit of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in their own lives and are to utilize their gifts and talents to bless those within and without the body of Christ.
  13. We hold to and believe that the partaking of the Lord’s supper, each individual identifies with the covenants they have made in following Christ as His disciples.
